Common Questions asked by my clients to help prepare for their beach photo shoot :)

(Q) WHAT ARE THE BEST COLORS TO WEAR FOR BEACH PHOTOS?
(A) I suggest use a basic neutral theme like gray & white, black & white, blue jean & white or khaki & white and accent it with a complimentary color for accents. Don't get too crazy with different patterns. Keep it simple, blended but fun.

Here's some sample color palettes I like :)

(Q) WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF DAY FOR BEACH PHOTOS?
(A) I prefer shooting in the late evening or early morning for the best skies and less blinding light. This cuts down on squinting and shadows on the faces. If I had my way I would shoot on an overcast day!

(Q) SHOES OR NO SHOES?
(A) I prefer keeping it natural at the beach :) Kick those shoes to the side and feel the sand on your toes!

(Q) WHERE TO TAKE BEACH PHOTOS IN GALVESTON?
(A) I like to keep it simple and convenient for my clients. I've done all the work for you, all you need to do is show up! I have carefully picked some wonderful spots that produce the best results for beach photos! Some of my favorite beach spots are Jimmy's Pier, Beachtown, or Pocket Park 2.

DON'T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!!!!!
The worst thing is to have a nasty sunburn on the day of your photos!!!

Most important thing... HAVE FUN!!!
